AMBITIOUS ATHLETICS FAQ’S

+ I'm not an experienced athlete – far from it – are Ambitious Athletics programs okay for me?

Yes. We meet your current fitness level and help you progress steadily to a more stable and stronger state. Anyone is capable of our training programs; you just have to be a little Ambitious.

+ I'm a collegiate athlete; will this program be challenging enough for me?

Yes, no, and maybe depending on your sport and strength and conditining program. We're happy to review and make recommendations about any training program you're currently using. You're also free to work within our existing program and/or use our space for the off/on-season training program recommended by your university coaching staff. Please contact us for further discussion.

+ I have an old injury. Are Ambitious programs off-limits to me?

No, but maybe? Honestly, we can't answer this question with certainty until we further understand the injury, its severity, your injury and exercise history, and a thorough movement assessment and understanding of your goals.

+ Who is this program best suited for?

Anyone who really wants to make a change in their life. We aren't like your typical gym; we're an education, results-driven training/coaching program with personal attention and big expectations. If, for instance, you don't notify us that you'll be on vacation for a week, you'll receive a phone call asking why you haven't been in to train. We're serious about your advancement and will stop at nothing to help you.

+ What stops people from doing this program?

For some, it's work schedules. For others, it's the fear of trying something new. But we believe nothing should stand in the way of your health and well-being. If you make time for a regimented program like ours, you'll soon recognize the gains in productivity at work. And honestly, should the fear of successfully meeting a new challenge ever get in your way? You can do it, and we can help. Don't create obstacles yourself.

+ Is this CrossFit?

No. More like cross-training. While strength and conditioning are the cornerstones of our programs, we use a variety of tools, methods, and applications that do not involve Olympic weightlifting.

+ HOW LONG IS each PROGRAM?

The Ambitious Athlete group training program is ongoing and constantly evolving. Our members compliment us on the sustainability of the programming and feel like they could do this forever. Personal training, nutrition coaching, and body composition programs vary in length based on the client's starting point and end result.

+ What are the costs of each program?

If you're looking to compare prices to prices and haven't booked a Coaching Conversation or assessment yet, we're probably not the one for you. Everything we do is custom to meet you where you are, so the cost of our programs varies - it could be $400 or $4,000. If you're a beginner, there's a good chance the process will take longer and cost more. If you have years of strength and exercise experience under a good coach, the process will likely be shorter and less of an investment. From what we hear from our clients, the value outweighs the cost. Face-to-face Coaching Conversations with our coaches are always free and can be booked right from the homepage of this website or by using this link.

+ Is there an initiation fee or other fees besides the monthly cost?

Initiation fee? Please. Never. We charge for your initial consultation and assessment and then for the coaching services you receive. That's it.

+ Do you offer drop-ins?

We do not. Ambitious Athletics is a members only gym with the acception of our Cold Plunge, Sunlighten Infrared Sauna Recovery Room which can be booked here, https://www.ambitiousathletics.com/recovery-room
